Mamelodi Sundowns right back Anele Ngcongca says he has not ruled out the possibility of returning Belgium, despite being contracted to the Tshwane side.

Ngcongca admits that his has been in contact with former coach Frank Vercauteren about the possibility of joining Circle Brugge, but he insists his focused on Sundowns at the moment.

“I’ve been in touch [with Cercle Brugge]. I’m that one person who speaks the truth, I’m honest,” Ngcongca told FarPost. “But again I still have a contract [with Sundowns].”

“I told [Frank Vercauteren] the situation that I have one year left with an option, but then we will speak at the end of the season about it. I can’t say now that I want to leave, but it will depend with my agent and the club. We shall see at the end of the season.

“But now I’m focusing on Sundowns; there are a few games remaining and try to help the team win the Nedbank and the league.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will now turn their attention to the Nedbank Cup when they take on Maritzburg United in the semi-final at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off set for 15:00.
