Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos lifted the trophy as Blancos became the first team ever to win back-to-back Champions League titles.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Real Madrid thumped  Juventus 4-1 in Cardiff to become the first team to retain the European Cup in the Champions League era.

The Portuguese captain’s opener was cancelled out by a superb Mario Mandzukic strike. However, goals from Casemiro, Ronaldo and Marco Asensio all but sealed the win, as Madrid’s secured their third Champions League triumph in four years.
