Bafana Bafana’s 18-match unbeaten run came to an end after they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Zambia in an international friendly match on Tuesday.
The South African side opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Lebogang Manyama latched on to a measured cross by Kermit Erasmus before he headed the ball home to make it 1-0.
Zambia then levelled matters in the 71st minute as Brian Mwila unleashed a low effort from 20-yards that beat Ronwen Williams at the near post.
However, Chipolopolo all but sealed the win eight minutes later when Mundia took advantage of some poor defending between Williams and Lorenzo Gordinho to slot the ball into an empty net, as Zambia held on for the win.
