Jonevret mum on speculation about future
- Updated: July 27, 2017

Orlando Pirates coach Kjell Jonevret says he doesn’t “care too much about speculation” regarding his future, amid reports that Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is set to replace him.
Media reports have been doing the rounds linking the Soweto giants with their former coach, and when asked about his future at the club, the Swedish coach remained tight-lipped, suggesting that things could change.
“A lot of things have happened and I’m 100 % sure that lots of things will happen at a club like this in the future,” he said at the Carling Black Label press conference.
“I think we’re a good technical team now and we have decided that we can’t put our energy on things we can’t control.
“We try to do the best we can every day, that’s the best we can do. I think we have worked well together as this technical team.
“I don’t care too much about the speculation. I’ve been in this business for long. The day I quit here, I will say too myself, good job Kjell.
“I’m not thinking too much about speculation about my future. I come here and I try to do my best each day, today, tomorrow,” he concluded.
The Mayfair-based outfit will lock horns with bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in the annual Carling Black Label Cup at the FNB Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.
