Mayambela: The team want to achieve things
- Updated: July 22, 2017

Chippa United’s new signing Mark Mayambela believes that the Chilli Boys are destined to win silverware as they prepare for the 2017-18 season.
The 29-year-old has now returned to the Chilli Boys after completing a move from Ajax Cape Town. He has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the club.
Mayamabela was one of the Urban Warriors’ better performers during the 2016-17 campaign, making 24 appearances in all competitions, while scoring three goals and assisting a further two in the process.
The former SuperSport United winger believes that the Chilli Boys have enough quality in the squad to win silverware during the new season.
“The team wants to achieve. The team wants to win things,” Mayamabela told KickOff.com.
“It’s a team that has never won cups, but I believe with the kind of personnel that the team is trying to put together, the team is destined to do well, as long as the players play according to the coach’s instructions.”
The Chilli Boys have confirmed that Mayambela has joined his new teammates in Durban for their pre-season camp as they prepare for the 2017-18 campaign.
