Mosimane mum on Ngoma tapping-up claims
- Updated: May 12, 2017

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane didn’t reveal much when responding to claims about him reportedly tapping-up Cape Town City winger Aubrey Ngoma, and questioned the timing of the revelation.
City boss John Comitis penned a statement lambasting the actions of the Caf Champions League winners for contacting Ngoma ahead of their Absa Premiership tie against Maritzburg United in a bid to lure him to Chloorkop.
Mosimane was tight-lipped about Comitis’ statement and said that the reaction was normal in the aftermath of City’s loss to The Team of Choice.
‘I don’t want to comment, it’s better not to say much [about claims of contacting Ngoma],’ he told KickOff.
‘You must understand, when did he [Comitis] say that? After they [Cape Town City] lost [to Maritzburg United]. They are human beings, it’s emotions.
Masandawana occupy second spot on the Absa Premiership table and failed to take advantage of Bidvest Wits’ 3-1 loss to Free Stars as they were held to a 2-2 draw against Baroka in their most recent tie.
Sundowns welcome Maritzburg in their next league encounter, while Wits face Polokwane City, with both games set to take place on Wednesday at 19:30.
