Kaizer Chiefs extended their winless streak to six games in all competitions after being condemned to a 2-0 loss against Platinum Stars in their penultimate Absa Premiership game of the season.
Goals by Solomon Mathe and Enocenet Mkhabela secured the victory for Cavin Johnson’s side and the result sees Chiefs remain in fifth spot on the table, with no chance of securing a berth for the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
