Substitute Cesc Fabregas scored a late winner as newly crowned Premier League champions Chelsea edged Watford 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge on Monday.
Blues captain John Terry, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season, opened the scoring for the host in his 716th game for the club before Etienne Capoue capitalised on a Chelsea backline error to level the score.
Cesar Azpilicueta and Michy Batshuayi gave the Blues a 3-1 lead before Daryl Janmaat and Stefano Okaka pulled goals back for the Hornets.
However, an 88th-minute goal by Fabregas kept Chelsea’s hopes alive of becoming the first team to win 30 games in a 38-game in a single Premier League season.
