• Durban to host Chiefs, Pirates TKO clash

    The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the Telkom Knockout semi-final clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on the 24 November.

    The Soweto giants were pitted against each other for the upcoming TKO semi-final after both team’s qualified for the last four by eliminating AmaZulu and SuperSport United respectively.

    This will be the second time Chiefs come up against Pirates after the Buccaneers claimed bragging rights by beating Amakhosi at the FNB Stadium on 27 October.

    However, it has now been confirmed that Amakhosi will play Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 24 November.

    Meanwhile, Baroka will take on Bidvest Wits in the second semi-final encounter at the Peter Mokaba Stadium 25 November.

    The Premier Soccer League released the followimg statement on the matter, which reads:

    ‘The Telkom Knockout semi-final fixtures venues, dates and kick-off times have been announced by the Premier Soccer League.

    ‘The #TKO2018 semi-finals will be played on the weekend of 24-25 November 2018.

    ‘The first semi-final will be between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 24 November 2018 at 15h00.

    ‘The second #TKO2018 semi-final fixture will be played on Sunday, 25 November 2018 at Peter Mokaba Stadium between Baroka FC and Bidvest Wits.
    Kick-off is also at 15h00.’

    Meanwhile, the PSL also confirmed that the TKO final will be hosted the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for the first time will for the first time on 8 December 2018.
